I just love the simplicity of these little white china bowls with numbers on them. They are perfect for olives, nuts, individual portions of jam etc. And I am a sucker for any white porcelain with lettering or numbers; especially when it comes with this simple font.
Couldn't resist them. In fact I just may have to go and get another set.
Happy weekend to one and all......
They're lovely, just the kind of thing I like but I'm attempting to de-clutter the flat at the moment and so trying not to buy. Maybe when I've cleared a bit of space!
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely weekend.
PS your trip to the vineyard looks fab
I completely get that Sarah..especially at this time of year :)
ReplyDeleteJeanne xx
PS...watching daily for an announcement of the Brora sale :)
Charming, want them.
ReplyDeleteHaven't you moved, don't we get to see some pictures soon?

stylish! Thank goodness I can not fit another thing in or I would be of to get a set! xoxo
ReplyDeleteCute! A nice alternative to plain white.
ReplyDeleteI love those. There's something about domestic objects harnessing symbolic constructs that I adore.
ReplyDeletethey are sweet...
ReplyDeletethey'd be great for curry condiments...nuts, coconut and chutney.
I love white bowls and cups so loving these! Your winery trip looked lovely, hope you found a lovely shady place to sip your wine? xx
ReplyDeleteYes, do get another set! Even if you get tired of owning duplicates, you'd be able to sell these on eBay for more than you paid, I'm sure.
ReplyDeleteI fell for numbered spice jars of a similar style. They were on sale, so not all numbers were available, but I scooped up 3 to spell our house address and thought that was OK :)
I think they are gorgeous. I love their shape and that they seem quite heavy.
ReplyDeleteTake care.
Love them!
ReplyDeleteCompletely understand your obsession, mine is with white serving platters! x
Cute bowls. Functional too. I must be the only one here, liking them even more if not/without the prints ; )!
ReplyDeletethey are lovely and timeless....
ReplyDeleteLovely! I like the simple white with the black print, too. It looks so clean. In fact I was just looking at some white chocolate fondant ramkins the other day- but as it was a French brand and they were awfully expensive here, I decided to wait a couple of monts. ;)
ReplyDeleteAs for coming to Melbourne, I'm seriously thinking about it. So much that I've already applied for and gotten a tourist visa. However, there's a tiny little obstacle in my way with regards to my health. I'm waiting for the date for a major surgery - and as long as the doctors haven't given me that yet, I don't dare to commit. They could suddenly decide they want to operate on me in the very near future, so I have to wait a little longer to see what they come up with. But I'll keep you posted - and at least it's good for my mood to be daydreaming about the warm, Australian summer. :)
I'm an interior designer from Melbourne - I loved your blog, I found it very inspiring. This is all new to me but I have just set up my own blog

You may like to check it out because I had so much fun doing it. It's got a bit of everything fashion, interiors, food, travel spots - hopefully you will find something in there that you like.
Thanks for providing me with such great entertainment!
Cheers
