Byron Bay Part I

A few photographs for you all from Byron Bay. Unfortunately the "free Wi-Fi" from our apartment turns out to be almost non-existent and so I am sitting outside in the car trying to find a signal before the battery on my lap top dies!!

Photograph above was taken from where we had breakfast yesterday morning - an idyllic location and the coffee was pretty good too.

Next post will probably have to be after we get back on Tuesday and sorry that I won't be able to catch up and visit your blogs either for a few days...
Hate being without Internet - amazing how we have all come to rely on it!!

Have a good weekend wherever you are and whatever you are doing!

  1. It is totally spooky how we come to rely on the interwebs, yes! But perhaps a few days 'unplugged' will be restful for you :)

  3. Sarah we love Byron and go there often as its only 'down the road'
I recommend Tapas as the Balcony in Lawson St
Fresh for lunch next to the pub and Fishmongers down the lane for the best fish and sweet potato chips ever!
Dish is wonderful for dinner or a soothing cocktail and the Cafe at Clark's Beach is awesome for breakfast.
My favourite beach is the Pass which is a bit hidden away.
Looks like a perfect day there!
    Enjoy!!!

  5. Looks like you are having a lovely time - great weather too!

    Any surfing lessions yet?

From my experience too, "free wifi" has a different definition to hotels and apartments as it does to us...

Enjoy and have a safe trip home.

  6. Oh, that first picture, the one with the sea and sand shore brought memories from years ago. Galloping on the waterline with my first own horse, Brigadoon!
