Cheating a teeny bit but still joining in with Jane

I am joining in with lovely Jane who is behind the blog Small But Charming and showing you my flowers in the house... She is showing Flowers around the Summer house but we are in topsy turvey land Down Under so we are in Autumn/Winter mode here of course.... First two photographs show my lovely bunch of Jonquils given to me by the divine Ms. S. They smell amazing.

And below - next two photographs these lovely blush pink spray roses. Given to me by Mr SE just before he jetted off to Europe (yes, again) on business on Saturday evening.

And here is the cheaty bit!! But I know that Jane will appreciate this as she is a florist. These are photographs taken at my local Florist run by the very sweet and gorgeous Cobi. She is so young ( think perhaps early twenties?) yet she owns and runs this successful business with a team of helpers.

LOVE the saying on the board outside.. "Winterference" - great!

Outside the shop above and below.

And above 5 photographs just taken here and there around the store....

Beautiful isn't it?

  1. Your blooms are lovely. So funny as oppposite seasons over this side of the pond in Ireland..but in name only as the summer here is great for just the ducks so far! Lucky you with such a great florist so close. See you at Jane's. Sinead

  2. OMG I forgot about our different seasons!

Love your flowers and your husband. You'll never feel lonely if you have flowers in the house:)

And pics from your florist? Brill. Always the unexpected from you Sarah. Love it!

  3. I'll give you full credit for the tulips alone! But your roses are lovely. Enjoy!

  4. Well those gorgeous flowers brightened a dull winter's day.

    So pretty.

  5. I love flowers. I never have them in my house though - I just plain forget! I saw some divine roses at our local florist today though - this post has inspired me to go and buy them tomorrow!

  6. Lovely blooms. I'm trying really hard to use only seasonal flowers but looking at those gorgeous florist images think I might buckle!

  7. so sarah, when it's too hot to work in the garden i'll just say it's due to summerference. i love it! what a cute shop.
