Well, my dear fellow bloggers and readers, the time has come for me to leave this beautiful city again for a while (and doesn't it look gorgeous in the photograph above - a new view which we saw on Saturday morning and could not resist a quick shot).So, here I am again blogging from one of my favourite places - the Qantas Lounge at Melbourne airport. Unfortunately, we were not lucky enough to be upgraded this time so its 'cattle class' all the way back to UK , ah well... At least though we get to use the facilities at the Qantas Lounges which makes all the difference so we can shower and relax for an hour or so on the way back to UK when we have a refuel stop in Singapore.
So, I may be out of action for 24 hours or so and not commenting but you never know I may get withdrawal symptoms and have to see what all my favourite bloggers are up to and take a quick peek when I am in Singapore - will just have to see how tired I feel.

Lavington is a bogan suburb of Albury NSW, by the way. I put it on my visitor list on my blog as a joke. You know...New York, London, Paris, Lavington hahaha :)

I bet that you must be so happy to be returning to the UK! It sounds like the weather is just as lovely over there as it is here. I hope that you have a safe trip and that it isn't too awful in Cattle class!

James - Singapore... my father was in the Royal Air Force and he and my mother were posted over to Singapore which was where I was born.... When they first went my mother was only 20 - communications back to UK were not as they are now and she had to say goodbye to her parents for 2.5 years... I would have hated that...
